I’m a passionate Philadelphia sports fan with several years of professional writing experience. I'm currently the Eagles reporter for Prior to that, I spent 4 1/2 years at the Sports Network where I covered Super Bowls, NBA Finals, Final Fours, college football National Championship games and countless other playoff games. Recapping Andy Reid’s return to Philadelphia was my favorite game I ever covered. The worst was Philadelphia’s loss to New Orleans in the Wild Card round in 2013. Recapping Eagles losses is never fun, but a playoff loss is excruciating!

As a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, it's only fitting that I enjoy devouring cheesesteaks and gulping down beers. I spent the past 6 years working in the newsroom for the now-defunct Sports Network, where I covered high-profile games and events such as the Aaron Hernandez murder trail and Boston Marathon bombings. I currently contribute to The Sports Haven while working part-time at a sporting goods store.

My name is Kiel and I've been a sports fan for as long as I can remember. Then as I got older it sort of snowballed into an obsession and I found myself watching nothing but sports. I also played sports but after a few knee injuries I knew my career would have to go in another direction. It first, I just watched pro but then I started to watch the college game and then the draft for baseball, football and basketball. I couldn't get enough, it was sports 24/7. I knew then I wanted to be a sports broadcaster, either do play by play or do sports talk radio. I can talk about sports everyday for hours on end. I attended Temple U to get my degree in communications and then attend Connecticut School of Broadcasting and got my degree where I got a lot of hands on training. It was a great learning experience. I hope to one day have a show on either 94.1 or 9.75.

I am an avid and lifelong Philadelphia sports fan who has several years of writing and editing experience. Originally from Northampton Township in lower Bucks County, I spent many nights as a youth watching the 90’s era Flyers intimidate the rest of the NHL with their supreme combination of skill and tenacity, while also struggling through the 90’s dreck that was the Phillies. I began working at The Sports Network as a writer/editor in 2011 and covered all major sports including MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA as well as Division-1 basketball and football with some occasional tennis thrown into the mix. I started covering soccer for TSN in 2013 and have since covered two MLS Cup finals, 1 Champions League final, the 2014 men’s World Cup final and the 2015 women’s World Cup final. I am excited to contribute to the Bitter Birds and am looking forward to bringing knowledge an insight about our beloved franchises. I can be found on Twitter @BWTSNSoccer.

I’m a Temple University Alum and work for a consulting firm as a Civil Engineer. Although my day job is not sports related, my passion and knowledge of the Eagles is impeccable. Before I knew how to walk my family had me in front of the TV watching the Eagles. Growing up I was known as “Little Ray” after my favorite journalist, Ray Didinger. I got the name from blurting out stats for every player on the Eagles, and I shared this story with Didinger himself. A night I will always remember as I met him and he signed my Eagles Encyclopedia. When asked to become a member of the bitter birds last year, I was ecstatic! I look forward every week to sharing my love, passion and knowledge with all of our followers.

Having grown up in Philadelphia I am an avid three for four Philly sports fan. The Flyers are my number one team with the Eagles and Phillies coming in close behind. I am currently in my graduating year expecting a Business Administration degree from Cairn University. I have been following the flyers since I was a little kid playing ice hockey myself. My favorite memory of the Flyers is the 2013-2014 playoff series against the penguins where Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux came out as super stars. As a huge Flyers fan I am very excited for the opportunity to talk hockey on the Bitter Birds and go Flyers! For random thoughts on life and on the flyers give me a follow @Caleb_Weiler_09
